Brandon Sell your Gold & Silver Online today for CASH!
In 1890 the Florida Central and Peninsular Railway came through the town and wanted a depot on Moon Ave. An engineer for the railroad surveyed the area and Victoria (John’s 2nd Wife) named the town Brandon, in memory of John, who died in 1886. In the 152 years since then, Brandon has gone from a small one school and grocery store town to a thriving area full of neighborhoods, businesses and a variety of schools and churches.
The County Fair sits on the west side of Brandon on State Road 60.
